We are highly trained media and human service professionals who love to tell a good story. We believe the difference between a great podcast, film, or TV concept and a good one is STORY. A good editor is hard to find. That’s where we come in. If you take care of the story, everything else falls into place. If you want to build a new program through an education facility or arts organization, we are here to help.

Why work with us?
We are both highly empathic creatives with extensive backgrounds in working with people. Our superpower is bringing out the best in folks.
Andy is a natural leader. I have never seen anyone with such strong facilitation skills. And I’m an idea whiz. I just live in that space - where intellect and emotion come together like alchemy.
What do you guys offer?
We offer end-to-end story consulting. Bring us an idea. A pitch. A pilot. We’ll help you get started, find a structure, a game plan and support you through to the finish line. We can punch up your script or proposal and make it sing. Music supervision and scoring are also available.
Do you offer audio and video editing?
For the right clients, we will provide audio production services. While we prioritize story and structure, we understand that sometimes what clients really need is someone to help get something shipped out into the world.
I see that you coach producers, what does that mean?
We coach from a consultant’s perspective. We offer support and some psycho-education about the creative process - but it’s all grounded in a specific project. As therapists, we are very clear about this distinction. Project coaching, yes; personal coaching, not so much.
Is sliding scale an option?
We have a limited number of slots for sliding scale production consulting and assistance. Reach out to us for more information.
Could I get story consulting from you as well as individual therapy?
No. As licensed therapists, we cannot enter into any dual relationships.
Anne Hoffman (She/They)
Editorial Lead
Anne is a professional producer, journalist, editor and social worker. Anne has 15 years of experience in media, podcasting and journalism. She has produced hundreds of public radio stories, and has worked with Spotify, Wondery, NPR, the BBC and Columbia University, along with countless private clients as a consultant. Anne has launched new programming and media education programs for both kids and adults.
Andy Freedman (He/Him)
Editorial Consultant
Andy is a screenwriter, editor, film critic, musician and music therapist. He has run radio programming, composed music for podcasts, and brought countless radio and video stories to life as Anne’s editorial partner. Andy comes from a family of media professionals — you might say it’s in his blood.
